The Museum of vine and wine – Pierrevert
Located in the heart of the village of Pierrevert and close to the cooperative cellar, you can (re) discover the heritage of the village.
In the heart of the wine capital of the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence
Created 20 years ago, in homage to our ancestors, you will find historical photographs, vintage wine material as well as collector items, given or loaned by Pierreverdants.
Closed for several years, the museum came back to life in 2015.
Since then, it has shed light on why Pierrevert is today the wine capital of the department. Today in addition to its permanent exhibition, it welcomes local artists inspired by Provence, for exhibitions related mainly to the vine.
Did you know ?
The building used for the museum is actually an old building belonging to an old family of winemakers, Mr and Mrs Roux. At the time, they decided to donate it to the municipality.
The only condition to respect for this donation is to transform this place into a vine museum.
